Tim Shannon

Tim Shannon is responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of various aspects of CAIS including firm Strategy, Finance, People Experience, Legal & Compliance, Operational Infrastructure, and Shareholder Relationship Management. He is a member of the CAIS Board of Directors and chairs or serves on various firm committees including the CAIS Finance and Compensation, Executive, Management, and ESG committees.

Tim has 30 years of experience in alternative investments, wealth management, and management consulting. He has held positions as Head of Business Development at Morgan Stanley Hedge Fund Partners, Managing Director at Citigroup Private Bank, COO of Traxis Partners and COO of Bernstein Private Wealth Management. Tim received a BS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School. He holds his FINRA Series 3, 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
