Jani Venter

Jani is responsible for the strategic growth and management of J.P. Morgan’s Defined Contribution real estate business. As a key member of the Defined Contribution Fund Management Team, she leads fund and client strategy across a range of fund solutions. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2017, Jani was an Associate Partner and a senior member of the real estate leadership team at Aon Investment Consulting. She led key client relationships, advised on real estate portfolio construction and manager underwriting, and designed the firm’s Defined Contribution real estate due diligence processes. Jani serves on the Board of Directors of the Defined Contribution Alternatives Association. She is a former Co-President and Co-Chair of the Defined Contribution Real Estate Association, and the Pension Real Estate Association Defined Contribution Affinity Committee, respectively. Jani holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and bachelor's degrees in Building Science and Architecture from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa.
